A little about me...

Hi! My name is Ahmed and I’m an engineering graduate. I found a love for design while pursuing engineering in college. This may seem like a drastic change but in some ways, they're actually very similar. For example, I learned to problem solve, think deeply about my approach, and realize there are multiple ways to reach an answer. All of these apply to design so I'm grateful I had a little detour. Because of it, I have a unique perspective when tackling design problems and even life.

My background

During my college years, I started as a freelance filmmaker. I’ve shot and edited 100+ videos, live events, commercials and a few underground music videos. That got me into graphic design and photography. I’ve worked on many logos and posters, but I’ve always wondered how to build a website or a mobile application. During my year in military service, I got into tech by learning coding languages like HTML, CSS and JavaScript in my free time after that I found that UI/UX Design is a better fit for my creative personality and  background.

My passion

I'm passionate about bringing accessibility to the digital interface and working on making technological products more inclusive for a larger, more diverse user base. I believe that good design should be effortless for users, and put in the work to make that happen through my evidence-based design process.
